Into the Wilds!

The Canadian cottage experience wouldn’t be complete without coming face to face with some of the beautiful (and less beautiful) animals that share our space. Sit watching the otters play in the water. Catch a glimpse of the mink scurrying along the shoreline. Chase frogs through the grass. Listen to the cicadas celebrating the summer sun. Enjoy nightfall with the chirp of crickets. Admire the osprey as they circle in the sky. Hundreds of bees and butterflies flock to the gardens every year, bringing the electric buzz and flutter of a happy, healthy environment with them. Of course there are a fair share of mosquitos, skunks, and raccoons, too, but with a little care even these encounters can be enlivening.
